1. Direct Billing Option (Credit Card on File Required)
Direct Insurance Billing: To use this service, you must keep a valid credit card securely on file in our encrypted payment system.
Outstanding Balances:
- If your insurance plan does not cover the full amount of your treatment, the remaining balance will be charged automatically to your credit card on file. This will also include cancellation /no show fees, report /medical letter fees,
- You will receive an email notification of any balance owing prior to the charge being processed.
2. Self-Payment Option (No Credit Card on File)
Pay Upfront: If you choose not to keep a credit card on file, you must pay the full treatment fee upfront at the time of your appointment.
Submit Your Own Claim:
- You will receive an official receipt to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement directly. Nexus Therapeutics will not coordinate insurance submissions on your behalf under this option.
- You remain fully responsible for any charges incurred including cancellation or no show charges or report generation /medical letter etc according to the clinic policy & norms
3. Overdue Accounts and Payment Responsibility
- Any unpaid balances after written or email notice for 30 – 60 days grace period will be forwarded to our Collections Department.
- Additional reporting cost and late fee cost may be added to your balance.
4. Cancellation policy
No-Show & Late Cancellation Charges:
- A valid credit card is also required to secure your appointment slot.
- Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to 50% fee and no-show will result into 100% fee.
- This fee will be charged to your credit card on file with notification via email.
Respect for Therapist Time: Please be mindful that your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Missed or late-cancelled appointments limit our ability to help other clients in need.
Note : MVA and WCB clients will be responsible to track their number of approved visits and any visits not covered by insurance will be responsibility of client.
